ADMISSION
Central School Corporation does not discriminate on
the basis of sex, race, religion, or national origin.
The admission
process is as follows:
o
Pick up an admission application; fill out the application;
acquire two signature recommendations from a current Central parent, teacher or
staff member.
o
Call the school for an interview with the principal.
o
At the time of the interview, bring the application, the
candidate’s state birth certificate, the candidate’s up-to-date
health record, a copy of the student’s social security card and a copy of the
candidate’s records at previous schools.
o
Pay the $100.00 registration fee.
o
Criteria for evaluation for admission: academic performance,
standardized test scores, behavioral performance.
o
Interview with the principal.
o
Refer the application to the Board of Directors or their designee
to accept or to deny admission.

Tuition may be paid in full at the beginning of the year.
If paid monthly – June to May - over twelve (12) months, tuition is due on
the first of each month but must be paid no later than the tenth of the month.
All tuition and fees must be paid by the last student day of school in May;
otherwise, grades, transcripts and other records will not be released and
enrollment for the next year will be placed on hold.
Parents who withdraw their child or children after having
committed for a school year will be required upon any future enrollment to pay
the full tuition for a year at the time of application unless waived by the
Central School Corporation Board of Directors.

Revised Statute 47:297.10—income tax deduction for elementary and
secondary school tuition
This statute allows an income tax deduction for amounts paid or incurred
during the tax year by a taxpayer for tuition and fees required for a
student's enrollment in a nonpublic elementary or secondary school which
complies with the criteria set forth in
Brumfield , et al. v. Dodd, et al. 425 F. Supp. 528 and
Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or to any public elementary
or secondary laboratory school that is operated by a public college or
university. The deduction is for 50 percent of the actual amount of tuition
and fees paid or incurred by the taxpayer per child or $5,000 per child,
whichever is less. The total amount of the deduction may not exceed the
taxpayer’s total taxable income. For the purposes of the deduction, tuition
also includes the following expenses:
- Purchase of school uniforms required by schools for
general day-to-day use.
- Purchases of textbooks, curricula, or other
instructional materials required by schools.
- Purchase of school supplies required by schools.
